Andrea's Story

I'm not going to stay quiet. I decided to take charge. It was almost like becoming a leader overnight.

Andrea Ramos Fernandez is the San Antonio and Austin Business Outreach Manager for the Texas Business Immigration Coalition. Before joining TBIC, Andrea served as a legislative assistant at the Texas House of Representatives during the 86th Legislature. She has also served as an intern for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute with Congressman Joaquin Castro and serves on the CHCI Alumni Association. Andrea has organized immigrant student communities in the past and was heavily involved in the creation of the UTSA Dreamer Resource Center. She graduated from UTSA with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration in 2018 and is a DACA recipient.
